For 9 days you will live the fascination of sleeping in one of the most beautiful areas of our country and near the incredible Arenal Volcano. The dry season starts at the end of November and lasts until the end of April
The transition months are May to July and November.
The rainiest months are from August to early November. However, a drier climate is typical in the Caribbean region at this time.

Start the day with a good coffee and breakfast because the adventure in the water has arrived. Rafting on the Pacuare River, considered one of the best rivers in the world, with 30 km of Class III-IV whitewater. From waterfall to waterfall, the lush forest, exotic plants, birds, other animals, and thrilling rapids make this a tropical adventure filled with rich experiences that you will remember forever.

This half-day canyoning tour will take you deep into the canyon to experience a series of waterfall rappels and activities like rock climbing and “Monkey Fall” – you’ll get wet!

Today is on your own, but we recommend you visit one of the access points of the Arenal Volcano, especially the Arenal Ecological Park, where you can hike to the foot of the volcano and enjoy the activities that you can hire at the lake.

Destination: Manuel Antonio
After an energizing breakfast, they head towards Manuel Antonio
The route will guide you to the south coast, passing by the Tárcoles river (here there is an obligatory stop to see the crocodiles), Herradura, Jacó, Parrita, Quepos and finally Manuel Antonio.

Paddle your kayak for a little over an hour cruising around small islands and observing seabirds and their nesting sites. Biesanz Bay, is a beautiful hidden cove where you can rest, enjoy a snack and snorkel. The 30-minute stop will allow you to explore the coast. Water visibility will vary seasonally, and there will be opportunities to see parrotfish, starfish, angelfish, and maybe even a sea turtle.

Enjoy your free day visiting Manuel Antonio National Park. We recommend doing it early in the morning. .

Access requirements
Since 11.05.2022, there has no longer been to use for a mask requirement. Entry requirements for Costa Rica are:
Driving licence
To rent a car in Costa Rica, having your driving license and passport with you when you pick up the vehicle is compulsory. Presenting a copy of the driving license or passport is not allowed. It is also necessary to carry a credit card as rental car companies ask for a security deposit. The security deposit amount varies depending on your insurance coverage with the rental car company. Debit cards are not accepted for a security deposit; only credit cards are allowed.

Check-in and out
Usually, the check-in time at the hotels is 2:00 pm. However, this may vary depending on each hotel’s policies and room availability. Check-out time is usually at 11:00 am.
Tours
The tours described in this offer are operated with a minimum number of two people. If the tour is not available, our local expert will offer you another option.
Travel Insurance
We recommend that you take out health insurance abroad. Costa Rica has an excellent health system where you can be treated without any problems if necessary, as long as you have health insurance abroad.
Final price
The final price is quoted in dollars and may vary depending on the exchange rate, additional activities, room category changes, additional meals, or other traveler requests.
The formalization of the reservation of your trip must be made in writing by e-mail to your travel agent contact and then fill out the registration form that will contain the information of the travelers.
The travel contract comes into effect with the acceptance of the terms and conditions, as well as the amount of 30% of the total reservation.
It is the traveler’s responsibility to check that the documentation provided is by the contracted services. If this is not the case, you should contact your travel agent to make the necessary modifications.
Up to 45 days before the date of arrival in the country, a penalty of $150.00 US per person will be applied to cover the administrative amount of the services.
Between 44 to 30 days before the arrival date, a penalty of 20% of the total reservation amount will be charged.
Between 29 to 22 days before the arrival date, 30% of the total reservation amount will be charged.
Between 21 to 14 days before the arrival date, a penalty of 40% of the total reservation amount will be charged.
Between 13 to 7 days before the arrival date, a penalty of 75% of the total reservation amount will be charged.
6 days or less before arrival date will be penalized with a 100% cancellation fee.
