Construyendo Sonrisas is a non-profit organization that has been making a lasting difference in the lives of more than 500 socially disadvantaged children and young people in Costa Rica for over ten years. It helps them improve their behavior and increase their motivation by recognizing and rewarding their achievements.
Bella Aventura supports Construyendo Sonrisas through three heartfelt initiatives: the sponsorship program “Sponsor a Smile”, the “I Share My Smile” initiative, and the special traveller program “A Kit for a Smile”. The latter allows guests to do good as soon as they arrive in Costa Rica by donating a hygiene or school kit to the children and young people — directly bringing a smile to their faces.
Building a culture of solidarity that promotes the sustainable development of children and young people in situations of social risk — through inclusive processes and programs that strengthen initiative and foster a spirit of solidarity.
If you’re traveling with us as a tourist, you can take part in our “A Kit for a Smile” program. You can also visit the foundation’s website to join their “Sponsor of a Smile” program or support them with a donation.
Make sure your trip to Costa Rica is filled not only with your belongings but also with hope for a child. We warmly invite you to participate in our “A Kit for a Smile” program. Upon your arrival in Costa Rica, simply hand the kit you’ve chosen to the driver who picks you up at the airport. We will then take care of delivering it to the foundation.
With this kit, you support a child from the Construyendo Sonrisas foundation in continuing their education, giving them better opportunities in life.

The Construyendo Sonrisas foundation and its “Sponsor a Smile” program offer companies and individuals the opportunity to provide a child from the foundation with a monthly contribution to support their educational and overall development, giving them a better quality of life.
Bella Aventura supports the girl Montserrat Ramirez and the boy Wilson Leon, both from the community of Santa Rosa de Santo Domingo de Heredia. These children live in economically challenging conditions. With a monthly contribution, Bella Aventura helps them continue their education and sustainably improve their quality of life.
